This Website offers a complete “learn-to-read” program for young children in preschool, KG, and Grades 1 and 2.  It contains online games and activities and simple printable books.

This is the main menu for the BBC Website for parents and teachers.  The activities are organized by grade level.  The “Pre-school” section contains online activities for children ages 18 months to 5 years.  The section for “Ages 4 to 11” would be most appropriate for SAMIE students.  You can find animated lessons for many subjects including numeracy (math), science, and language.

“Gamequarium” uses an underwater theme to offer many online activities in several subjects such as reading, writing, math, and science.

This Website is sponsored by National Geographic and contains many games, activities, and resources for children of all ages.  For example, the “Photo Gallery” contains many photos of animals and their habitats.  Parents might like the “Print and Go Coloring Books” that allow them to select and print pictures of animals that their children can color.

This is the Website for the Harcourt Math Advantage program.  It contains many animated math games for children.  Choose the grade level, then select a game to play.

Education4Kids allows parents or teachers to create custom electronic flash cards and games in math and beginning English.

Cool Math 4 Kids contains several math games. Although most of them are a little difficult for primary students, see the section on games for 3 – 5 year olds (Concentration Game, Simon Says, The Number Monster)
